Keep this place a secret just to yourselves!

This secluded luxury hideaway lacks for nothing in terms of host friendliness ( non invasive but very generous) and quality of accommodation . The appliances, toiletries, fitout, and food are first rate- generous and quality fresh produce for breakfast in such an ideal surroundings. The horses and chickens etc and their enclosures and surroundngs were so well maintained as was the entire 30 acre property. This is something that is so lacking in many rural retreats. If you stay there you might want to keep this place a secret just to your selves- for next time. PS Brian' s chicken and salad with pesto potatoes is highly recommended. Heaven for dogs (and people too)

My name is Monte and I'm a 7 year old Border Collie. I've just had the best time of my life at Wild Duck Farm. It was full of wonderful surprises, like afternoon tea when I first arrived, being able to sleep in a luxury suite and the freedom to explore the farm and meet lots of interesting animals. I'm glad I took my people with me so they could enjoy sunset drinks by the lake, wonderful food and beautiful scenery. Christine and Brian were incredibly kind to me and made me feel very special. Excellent property with a lovely host!

My husband and I visited Wild Duck Farm with our very energetic and playful Labrador, Google, who enjoyed swimming in the dam with Christine’s friendly Golden Retrievers Bobby and Charlie. It is a stunning 32 acre property with horses, cattle, ducks, beautiful birds and trees. Remarkable effort from Christine and Brian shone through this picturesque oasis. Not only was the place we stayed in immaculate and comfortable, Christine and Brian ensured that our stay was perfect and more. We had a couple of lunches and dinner booked in Montville during our stay and they kindly offered to look after our dog. We also enjoyed a delicious gourmet meal cooked by Christine along with some baked goodies like scones and biscuits. The warm and friendly hospitality made us feel like we were in a home away from home. We can’t recommend this place enough - best dog friendly accommodation we have ever stayed in and a place we would love to go back to. (Su)
